In this article I’m going to share step by step guide on how to flash Android (6.0) M boot animation on device running on Android Lollipop and KitKat. So, if you really want the boot animation on your device, then keep reading.

How to Flash Android M Boot Animation on Lollipop & KitKat (ZIP File)

One thing which I really like about Android is how easy it is to customize the platform the way you want. Developers giving their best to add new feature, so it can attract more new.

We all know the Google release the Preview images of its upcoming version i.e. Android M with new features. And good thing is that these features are not limited to particular device and developers are giving their best to make them available for all the Android version. In my previous article I have shared about the stock Android M Launcher apk which can easily be installed on device running Lollipop and KitKat.

This Android M boot animation is compressed into a zip file to make the process little easier for you. You can easily flash this app just by using custom recovery such as TWRP. Good thing is you can flash this zip file without rooting your device.

Steps to Flash Android M Boot Animation on Lollipop & KitKat

1. First of all download this file and transfer it to your device storage.

2. After that disconnect and turn off your device.

3. Now you need to reboot your device into recovery mode. Method to get your device into recovery mode varies by device, you can use power and volume keys combination.

4. Once you’re in recovery mode, you need to wipe cache and dalvik cache.

5. After that using your volume up and download key go to “Install” or “Install zip file”.

6. Now navigate to the folder where you have place the zip file of the boot animation and select it by pressing the power button.

7. You will notice that flashing process is started

After following above steps you need to wait for few second to complete the flashing process. Once its done reboor your device. You can enjoy the new Android M boot animation on your device.
