According to Google, while creating the upcoming Android version a.k.a Android M the main thing which they have keep is to provide user more power over his phone. As announced in Google I/O event the upcoming version comes with lots of cool features and one out of them is providing more power to user.
Latest version of Android comes with option to change permission of the app installed on your device. Lots of application which is installed on the device need number of permissions. Some apps require permission to access camera, contact list, send text messages and even for making phone calls without the knowledge of the owner.
You don’t want any application to make phone calls and spend money without your knowledge, right? Previously in the older version of Android, your device must be rooted and need to install some extra apps to disable access to particular information.
Android M makes its easier for you, as it has built-in menu using which you can select what permission an application can use and what information it can access. This way you can assure yourself that your data is safe and none of the application is accessing it. How To Remove/ Change App Permissions on Android M Without Root
1. First of all you need to take your phone and go the app drawer.
2. After that go to the settings menu, there you need to scroll down to “Apps”.
3. Here you will get list of all application which is you device. Tap to choose the application you want.
4. You will see all the basic information about the app. Tap on the “Permissions”
5. Now you will see list of all the permission that application requires. Just tap on the permissions which you don’t want app to use.
Note: Keep in mind that application can stop working, if you disable wrong permissions of the app.
